Day Fifteen: Rest and Delicious Chicken

Okay so the scale doesn’t completely reflect my reaction to eggs.. I’m baffled. I think I’m going to stick to only having eggs once a week just to be safe.

Not much to report on this rest day besides the most delicious recipe I’ve had in this sea of bland veggies. The spice rub we’re instructed to use on chicken for tonight’s dinner and tomorrows lunch made my week. I’m not kidding. It literally felt like I was eating take out chicken wings. The rub coated the chicken and to my surprise, stayed there. It was so spicy- but a good spicy. I highly recommend this one. Also helpful hint- if you don’t love spicy hold back on the cumin and the red hot pepper flakes. I used them VERY liberally and it blew my poor Mother away. Enjoy it ya’ll!
